“Two miles from Northampton town centre this undulating heathland course has built up a strong membership as well as being popular with visiting golfers and societies. The sandy soil allows play all year round and the course has a reputation as one of the best winter courses in the midlands”

The course opened in 1995 and now has a reputation as one of the best all year round courses in Northamptonshire. It has matured into a course that is not only very scenic, but also challenging for golfers of all abilities. There has been many course improvements over the past 2 years with additional tees and trees added as well as new water features on the 2nd, 7th, 9th and 18th.

Brampton Heath is blessed with fantastic sandy soil and drainage, and was the only course to stay open throughout last winter (except when snow covered), never using temporary tees or greens, or tee mats. Trolleys are always permitted, as are buggies, unless there are exceptional circumstances. There is a yearly Winter Series that runs from October through until March which is extremely popular with local golfers. It gives a chance of competitive golf all through the colder months, details can be found below.

The clubhouse has recently undergone a large extension with new mens and ladies changing facilities as well as function rooms that can be used by visiting groups and societies. They offer a selection of drinks and home-cooked meals and snacks and can cater for up to 120 golfers in the Cranshaw Suite overlooking the 9th and 18th holes.

The Golf Club welcomes visitors and societies and packages can be tailored to suit each groups needs. Starting at just £26 per person including golf on the championship length course it provides great value for money.
