Bury Golf Club

Designed By Alister Mackenzie, Charles Alison. Built in 1890, Bury Golf Club welcomes golfers at all levels and offers a friendly atmosphere in which to enjoy a course containing some classic holes including 3 designed with the famous McKenzie two-tier greens.

Although not long at 6088 yards the course requires accuracy more than length in order to score well.

If you are looking for a venue for your function consider Bury Golf Club's Vardon Room, ideal for the small & medium sized functions.

We have facilities for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, company events, meetings and funeral receptions.

The Vardon room has been recently refurbished and offers privacy for your event.

The room can comfortably seat 70 guests for a dinner and around 80 for dances etc. However if you require a larger facility we can also offer our main lounge subject to availability.

A full bar and catering service can be provided by Debbie our Stewardess and Vardon Catering Ltd. If you wish to discuss your catering requirements please ring the Club on 0161 766 4897 and press the option 3 for the kitchen. Please note we do not accept bookings for 18th and 21st birthday parties.

The hire charge for the Vardon Room is £80.
