Description
Established in 1906 on the undulating moorland above the town of Matlock, the eastern gateway to the Peak District National Park, Matlock Golf Club offers a challenging 18-hole par 70 course of just over 5,800 yards (yellow tees) with spectacular views across the Derwent Valley and unrivalled practice facilities, including a 10 bay covered and floodlit driving range.
Matlock has been a favoured destination for society and holiday golfers for many years. Our aim is to make the 'Matlock GC Visitor Experience' one that brings them back time and again.
The combination of a course that challenges but does not overwhelm, a first class catering service and the friendly service provided by our house and professional staff makes Matlock an ideal choice for a first class corporate outing.
If you are the organiser of a golf tour, Matlock makes an attractive base for your group with a host of 'extra-curricular' tourist sites such as Haddon Hall, Chatsworth and the Peak District National Park on the doorstep. The town and surrounding area offers accommodation to appeal to all budgets – camping and caravan sites, pubs with rooms, B&Bs and a range of hotels. Have a look at some of the links to our local partners on this page.
Why not open and close your tour with a round over Matlock and make it your 'home club' for the duration?
Casual visitors and small groups are also welcome and if you're a holiday golfer all on your own our professional staff will do their best to fix you up with a members’ group.
