Llanymynech Golf Club raises £2,000 on Captains’ Charity Day

Club Captain, Phil Ellis and Ladies Captain, Gwenan Davies held a Charity Day at Llanymynech Golf Club last week. The day was a tremendous success with more than thirty teams from around the region taking part. ‘It was great to see so many people playing our wonderful course’ said Captain, Phil Ellis.

Over £2,000 was raised for Alzheimer’s Research UK at the event. ‘We are thrilled to have raised such a large amount for such an important charity. Dementia is touching so many people’s lives’ said Lady Captain, Gwenan Davies. Penny Dyer, Regional Fundraising Officer for ARUK also attended the event and helped with the raffle.
