Results from Pannal

I hope you all enjoyed the wonderful and welcoming Pannal Golf Club today – What another scorcher of a day which now seems to be the norm when we visit Pannal. I really can’t believe why we didn’t sell any bob hats today!!

We were in for a real treat with the course in fabulous condition: fast running greens, rough to collect the errant tee shots and a true test of golf for all abilities. With nearly two thirds of the field playing with a single figure handicap it was time to find out who would keep their nerve and battle not only the golf course but the draining heat as well!!

A nail biting finish to the day with 4 pairs all scoring 42 points with a back 6 countback to decide the places with Jon & Rob just pipping Neil & Jason although we’ll leave Jason to tell you all about the schoolboy error that cost them the victory.
