SHROPSHIRE TEAM DRESSED TO IMPRESS THANKS TO TELFORD HOTEL
Shropshire’s top amateur golfers will be dressed as champions as part of a new sponsorship deal with Telford Hotel & Golf Resort – part of the QHotels Group.
The county team will be kitted out in style with club-crested clothing for their forthcoming battles against rival counties after Telford’s generous gesture as they kicked off their new partnership with a 10-8 success over Staffordshire in their most recent outing.
It further underlines Telford Hotel’s continued commitment to Shropshire golf with the team already using the extensive facilities for practice and events.
Shropshire captain James Showell said: “It means a lot to have the support and sponsorship of Telford behind us, whether that’s in the form of the uniform or access to the facilities. It’s great to know we have the backing of such a great golf resort.
“It adds that extra bit of pride to have a team uniform for matches – it makes us look like a proper team. I think we have a great chance to develop quickly as a squad this year and this can only help us achieve our goals.”
