Trump Turnberry opens its doors with exclusive new membership package – The Ailsa Club

Trump Turnberry, the iconic Ayrshire golf resort nestled on Scotland’s west coast that is home to one of the most famous stretches of linksland in the world, is launching four exclusive membership packages that will deliver the very highest levels of five-star opulence across the venue.

Members are being invited to etch their names into Trump Turnberry folklore as one of the esteemed ‘Founding Fifty’ of its exclusive ‘Ailsa Club’.

The new membership is set to transform the experience of visiting the Scottish landmark, offering privileged access to its golf facilities including the iconic Ailsa course – a four-time host of the Open Championship – the legendary King Robert the Bruce, and a state-of-the-art Golf Academy.

Delivering the epitome of luxury, the ‘Tom Watson Private Members’ Lounge’ – a lavishly-furnished space where they can enjoy daily food and beverages – will be reserved exclusively for Ailsa Club members, taking in the view over the 18th green of the Ailsa course, with the Firth of Clyde and the Irish sea serving as a memorable backdrop.

To elevate the experience even further, members can enjoy a ‘wee dram’ from their own personalised bottle of whisky – stored in the Tom Watson Private Members’ Lounge – to enhance those precious moments on a visit to Trump Turnberry.

Guest vouchers will give Ailsa Club members the opportunity to enjoy complimentary four-ball rounds at Ireland’s Trump Doonbeg and Trump International Scotland in Aberdeen.

To complement its golf offering, the Ailsa Club will also allow members to enjoy a myriad of off-course facilities at the resort, including stays at Trump Turnberry’s magnificent Edwardian hotel.

Members can unwind in a world of escapism and tranquillity at Trump Spa, which recently cemented its position at the pinnacle of the industry with a multi-million-pound renovation that includes a state-of-the-art fitness centre, while families can share those special moments together with the resort’s ‘Turnberry Adventures’ that include horse-riding, clay-pigeon shooting and archery.

A selection of elegant bars and restaurants deliver the height of culinary delights, serving exquisite dishes using locally sourced ingredients.

Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, said: “Turnberry’s best days, and most memorable moments, lie ahead.”

There are several ways to experience the Ailsa Club, with a choice of four memberships: the Dual Golf Membership, which gives two members unrestricted access to the golf courses and Turnberry Spa; the Family Membership, tailored for two adults and two children and with unlimited tee-times for the golfer of the family; the Single Membership, which entitles one individual 20 per cent off golf tuition at the Golf Academy alongside a plethora of other perks; and Golf Membership as a couple’s option ideal for that common combination of one golfer and one non-golfer.

Membership fees start at £15,000 per annum for Single Membership, with a joining fee of £3,000. Dual Golf Membership costs £27,000 per annum (£5,000 joining fee), while Golf Membership (couple, one golfer) costs £16,500 per annum (£5,000 joining fee) and Family Membership is £20,000 per annum (£5,000 joining fee).
